Fahy Fitzpatrick Consulting Engineers are currently working on or have completed work on the following educational developments and engineering projects.
Location: Kinsealy, Co.Dublin
Client: School Board of Management
Project Manager: Fahy Fitzpatrick
The school was constructed in 1950’s with additional prefabs and playground areas added since then. The work involved the removal and reconstruction of an existing 1800m² playground, which surrounds the primary school. This included the provision of a new surface water sewer, attenuation tank and outfall, the removal of an existing partially colapsed wall and the construction of a new palisade fence to secure the playground and school buildings. During the works the need to lower existing services such as low voltage power, fire alarm, security alarm & watermains became apparent. Due to the competitive tendering market this additional work along with internal rewiring and a repair of the outfall foul sewer was all completed within the grant obtained from the department of Education and Science of €225,000. Fahy Fitzpatrick provided Civil and Structural Engineering, Project Management and PSDP (Health & Safety) services to the school’s Board of Management.
